ACNE
WHAT IS IT?
Acne does not just concern teenagers. Increasingly the condition has begun to extend beyond the teenage years. According to epidemiological research carried out in France about ten years ago, more than 40% of young women aged 25 to 40 are also concerned, and not systematically those who had acne between the ages of 15 and 18. The causes are “many and complex,” explain the dermatologists who cite, in no special order, hormonal problems, stress, smoking, pollution, cosmetic products ill-suited to skin type and, more recently, food.
PREVENTION
Carefully cleanse your skin morning and evening and after any sports activity to eliminate possible excess sebum,
prevent the formation of little blockages that obstruct pores and limit risks of inflammation.
Be careful not to scour the skin, which is not the same thing as good hygiene. Any product that is overly aggressive only makes things worse.
